Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

Dude, this was an awesome and hilarious movie. Edgar Wright has really proved himself as one of the most creative directors working today. All the visual gags and jokes were awesome, and there's even some cool video game music in this film. Michael Cera was brilliant as Scott, Kieran Culkin was freaking hilarious as Wallace Wells , and Mary Elizabeth Winstead was gorgeous as Ramona Flowers . I highly recommend this movie.

Ditto.

I've never read the comics but many of my friends have gotten me into the story over time. I couldn't help but jump on the band wagon too when I heard the movie was coming out. Last Friday on its premier day I escaped the heat by going to the theatre. I think I can say I'm an official fan now, not just a supporter.

Micheal Cera was adorable if I may say so, he holds the perfect amount of geekiness, innocence and humor to pull off Scott's character brilliantly. And I love Kim, she's so funny! She reminds me of Mandy from another of CN's forgotten originals- "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy". I learned that Allison Pill, the actress who played Kim, also did voice work for another seemingly forgotten cartoon called "Redwall". She did the voice of a gentile young mouse named Cornflower. Wow, what a contrast of personality between Cornflower and Kim.

Cera is rumored to be cast as Gilligan in the upcoming Gilligan's Island movie.

Terminator Salvation

Unbreakable

Inglorious Basterds

Me and my girlfriend had no money the other day so we literally did NOTHING and watched movies. The first I watched out of boredom and was just needing something to pass the time but the others were films I had wanted to show my girlfriend for a while, I was pleased to find out she really enjoyed both of them .

I've seen Inception today. Finally, a mainstream movie that actually requires you to use your brain cells and remember what happened before! Definitely an improvement from Avatar.

CGI was great too.

Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo

I finally got the chance to see this movie (courtesy of my oldest sister living in LA), and I have to say, I have to agree with what Mr. Marshmallow said WAY BACK in 2006. It was awesome. I especially loved
Spoiler Below
the Robin/Starfire part at the end. Very sweet. 'It's about time' indeed.

Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Make plans to see this movie if you haven't already. It is pure fun and a great story. San Diego went nuts having the Scott Pilgrim Poster on the entire side of one of their hotels at the Con. I saw the trailer, and I thought "this is gonna be good," and IT WAS. If you are a gamer, you are in for a treat of a film. The guy who produced this is a genious! The DVD will be MINE when it gets released that way.

If you mean the guy who directed it, his name is Edgar Wright. His other films are Shaun of the Dead and (one of my favourite films) Hot Fuzz. And yes, the DVD will be mine also on the day of release. Heck, I'll even pre-order it the minute I see it.
