That was certainly very different, but very fun to watch. Man, I'm sad that we only have a couple episodes left. Finally having new Foster's after so long has made me remember why I love this show so much.

Sweet episode!
You'd think it'd be nice if Cartoon Network could start playing the series more often now. |

No, just Dr. Suess
it really DOES look like him though Anyway, back on topic: Does anyone know who did the voice of the friend who lived in the toy chest? It sounded a bit like Nicky Jones (of Chowder fame) to me but I'm not sure if it was him.

World was voiced by Max Burkholder, better known as Roo on Playhouse Disney's My Friends Tigger and Pooh.

7:58 pm - 'omgtwomoreminutesi'vewaitingsolooonnnggg' 7:59 pm - 'ONEFRIGGINMINUTEI'MGONNABURST' 8:00 pm - 'OHMYGAWDYAYIT'SFINA-....wtf? Total Drama Island commercial? YOU'RE DELAYING MY NIRVANA! Of course, it started at 8:01, but still. They said 'starting now' and then they showed a TDI commercial and some other one before it. Talk about teasing. That was a very long minute for me. This movie had so much heart and wit. I especially enjoyed how many allusions there were in here, from Stan Lee's 'Excelsior!' to the Super Mario Bros scene. I've actually been pondering something since the movie ended. What could the creator of the ToyBox Imaginary Friend have been going through, what sort of life did he have, that would prompt the creation of such a friend? Any theories? The voice actor's name is Max Burkholder.

That was the best Foster's movie event I have ever watch since this series made its debut four years ago.
I was surprised by the fantasy (if surreal) theme it show, but it make since considering the nature of the show. It boast a lot of references to certain pop cultures as well. I love how it the plot works out, and ended on a rather sweet note. It's a shame that the series will be ending next year , but at least Foster's came back with a bang.

Wow, that was an amazing episode, well-worth the wait! It was great! I almost forgot how wonderful this show is. They did a really good job of making you especially hate Mr. Herriman up intil the end when
he's all nice n' stuff. I loved it. The art was great, the concept was great, it was so well-thought out! I almost wished it would never end, as opposed to when I usually watch TV shows and just want it to be over so I can do something else. I'm glad to see Foster's again, and realize why I loved it so much! |

Oh my word! I'm still in pure bliss! That was such a fantastic episode. The only thing that makes me a bit sad is that it reminds you how great this cartoon is and imagine how great it could continue to be for a long time to come if it weren't for the short sightedness of CN.
Ok steps off the soap box. The references were incredibly enjoyable... The Mario scene was brilliant and while I don't know if it was meant to, the bridge scene reminded me of the Monty Python and the Holy Grail bridge scene. But the one Monty Python reference I'm sure about is the magician that the toy boy creature was in looked exactly like 'Tim The Enchanter.' Anyway A++++++++++++ I'm just sad that these guys weren't allowed to continue creating and running this show. It's far too good of a show, and they are doing far too good of a job for it too end... Especially when you consider the fact that there are no good cartoons out there today besides Foster's anyway.... |
