Yay! So, I heard the lamest Multi-Denominational Seasonal Wish yet!

See, I have no problem with "Happy Holidays," because there are a lot of holidays and people get strangely worked up if you name the wrong one. I personally try to tailor it - "Merry Christmas" is usually safe, but there are some people for whom "Happy Hannukah" is really obvious, and a good number of "Happy Holidayses", too. But now, today, I have heard the most neutral, essentially wussy version ever:

"Happy happy!"

Heh, add "Joy Joy" to that, and it could be even more fitting. But, that phrase is already taken by something entirely different. Drat! Oh well.

I wasn't sure if I'd be able to come on line tonight, but here I am. It's just about to be officially Christmas day on the East coast. So I hope everyone is having/had a great Christmas Eve.

I'm watching White Christmas, as is the Christmas Eve tradition of my family, and has been for years. Also eating junk food. Yum, yum, yum.

Yaaay Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is taking this opportunity to gorge on particular holiday eatings such as Ghirardelli peppermint bark and peppermint ice cream, which is so delicious that the fact that it looks exactly like Pepto-Bismol doesn't even bother me.

Let us all make the most of the day it is socially acceptable to chop down a tree and bring it indoors. Hope all of y'alls don't get coal or dorky pajamas. :Db

I wish it wasn't already Christmas and I had known about "Happy happy!" weeks ago, sob.

Sparky those cookies look delicious.

Well, it's been officially Christmas here for a few hours now, and we've already opened our presents since it's out tradition to open them after midnight on Christmas Eve. Anyway, I got some stuff I wanted along with something I didn't expect (my aunt's good at that) and I also got my parents some things that they wanted and it was overall a nice and fulfilling experience like every year.

Only problem, WE DIDN'T GET ANY SNOW! In fact, we haven't got any snow yet this year at all. *sigh* We haven't had a White Christmas in years and this is unfortunately another disappointing year in that respect.

But that's nothing to get too depressed about. Anyway, I'm still enjoying the day so far and I want to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas!
