Default My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Some of you may not know, but Lauren Faust is involved in the new MLP series that will debut this Sunday on The Hub network. The Hub will launch and replace Discovery Kids on the very same day. The series will debut at 2:30 PM EDT. A little heads up for those that are into MLP, or would like to have a look at it.

I saw the episode last week, and I must say that I can't help but stick around and watch the second part of the episode. Not only Lauren is involved in the series, but I believe Rob Renzetti (who worked with Craig and Lauren in the past with Cartoon Network) is involved, also. I actually did see some of the 1980s series, which was okay, but I believe Friendship is Magic will be even better. Great cast, beautiful artwork/designs, and definitely an enjoyable first part episode. I'm really happy for Lauren, and I wish this series well.

For those without The Hub, you can find the first part episode on YouTube. The next episode will premier on Friday at 2PM EDT.

I'm upset I don't have The Hub. But I have The Hub "On Demand", and even though MLP isn't listed there yet, it's only a matter of time before it is. I did see the first half of the first episode online though, and I loved it. It has much more depth and meaning than the '80s series did. This will delight people of all ages, male and female. I just hope more males give it a chance.

Fluttershy is my favorite character so far. An animal lover, and painfully shy just like I was when I was a "tween". Pinky Pie made me laugh. It's very entertaining.

I just saw the first part of MLPFiM on YouTube (I cannot get Hub either). I think this show is in VERY good hands. Lauren has created a good little show here so far, and I like what I see.

Few people have The Hub it seems, which is sad. It's not even available on many cable and satellite providers. So I thought I'd take this time to post links to Lauren's new pride and joy so those without The Hub can enjoy them too. And maybe pass on the word.

The series premier was titled "Friendship is Magic" and aired in two parts, but was produced like a movie (like "House of Bloo's" was). And since YouTube allows for only so many minutes per video, it's snipped up into four videos-

Ep 1, part 1

Ep 1, part 2

Ep 1, part 3

Ep 1, part 4

The second episode is titled "The Ticket Master" and is now your standard 22 minute episode-

Ep 2, part 1

Ep 2, part 2

Pinkie Pie still makes me laugh, she's sooo funny! My favorite is still Fluttershy. But all the characters are great!

Episode 4 aired last week. It's titled "Griffon the Brush Off". It deals with bullying.

Ep 4, part 1
Ep 4, part 2

And Episode 5 aired this week. It's titled "Boast Busters", and deals with the difference between being proud of your talents and showing them off.

Ep 5, part 1
Ep 5, part 2
