I thought it would have been heart-meltingly lovely in "Good Wilt Hunting". Just picture that scene in the begining where Wilt looks out the window all sad and then the song lyrics start...

"I?m so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
cause your presence still lingers here
And it won?t leave me alone

These wounds won?t seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There?s just too much that time cannot erase

When you cried I wiped away all of your tears
When you?d scream I fight away all of your fears
And I?ve held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
all of me

You used to captivate me
By your resonating light
Now I?m bound by the life you?ve left behind
Your face, it haunts
My once pleasant dreams
Your voice it chased away
All of the sanity in me

These wounds won?t seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There?s just too much that time cannot erase

When you cried I wiped away all of your tears
When you?d scream I fight away all of your fears
And I?ve held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
all of me

I?ve tried so hard to tell myself that you?re gone
But though you?re still with me
I?ve been alone all along

When you cried I wiped away all of your tears
When you?d scream I fight away all of your fears
And I?ve held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
All?.Of?.Me"

I think these words pretty much just about has Wilt all through them, through every line and through every word. It's a deep and perfect song for him, in my opinion.
My Immortal is the name. That is a very good song and it does kinda fit him

How about this one for Frankie My Dear? I'm A Believer by Smash Mouth (sung from Mac's point of view!)

I know it's been said, but: "My Immortal" is the title. Moving right along:

This is a great song for GWH. It's definately got that gut-wrenching sorrow that you can sort of assume Wilt is feeling throughout the episode. (Mind you, I'm guessing on all that: All I've seen is of the actual ep is twenty solid seconds, but I've read the synopsis and have gotten a good deal of info from posts other users have on the forums.) Of course, I'm biased here-- I love "My Immortal," and come dangerously close to crying whenever I hear it. )When my school did a Veterans' Day ceremony a few years ago, they did a slideshow of pictures and this was the song they used. I cried then.) Good choice, Tonya!

I think I feel a fanfic coming on... * Quickly switches to MS word to start writing *

Gorillaz's "Clint Eastwood" could be suitable for "Nightmare on Wilson Way".

Here's a fun one:

"Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)" by Edison Lighthouse for "Frankie My Dear." ( )

It's lame, but the song is about a girl who spreads love wherever she is, and that's basically the whole plot of FMD. (Mind you this song is from the 1970's-- I have odd musical tastes. Most of the stuff on my iPod is from my parents. They have great music!)
=========
Added 10/19: Got another one!

"Online" by Brad Paisley for "World Wide Wabbit."
I'm so much cooler online
Yeah, I'm cooler online

The actual song is a little different, but these lines just give the whole image of that video Bloo and Mac got (not telling so people who haven't seen the episode can have a chance and be surprised) a great ironic humor.
=========
Added 10/20: And yet another...
"Homeward Bound" by Simon and Garfunkle for "Good Wilt Hunting."

I'm sittin' in the railway station
Got a ticket for my destination
On a tour of one night stands
My suitcase and guitar in hand
And every stop is neatly planned
For a poet and a one man band

Homeward bound
I wish I was
Homeward bound
Home, where my thoughts escaping
Home, where my music's playing
Home, where my love lies waiting
Silently for me

Everyday's an endless stream
Of cigarettes and magazines
And each town looks the same to me
The movies and the factories
And every strangers face I see
Reminds me that I long to be

Homeward bound
I wish I was
Homeward bound
Home, where my thoughts escaping
Home, where my musics playing
Home, where my love lies waiting
Silently for me

Tonight 'Ill sing my songs again
I'll play the game and pretend
But all my words come back to me
In shades of mediocrity
Like emptyness in harmony
I need someone to comfort me

Homeward bound
I wish I was
Homeward bound
Home, where my thoughts escaping
Home, where my musics playing
Home, where my love lies waiting
Silently for me
Silently for me
Silently for me

This song just fits Wilt whole cross-country journey about going back to his old neighborhood, and I'd imagine going back home to Foster's. (Man, I'm long-winded today... )
=======
10/24: Got a new one... AGAIN
"I Get Around" by the Beach Boys for "House of Bloos," particularly these lines:

I'm gettin' bugged driving up and down the same old strip
I gotta finda new place where the kids are hip

My buddies and me are getting real well known
Yeah, the bad guys know us and they leave us alone

This just sums up Mac and Bloo's feelings by the end of the pilot ep perfectly.

L7's 1992 song "Pretend We're Dead" totally fits Foster's 2007 Halloween special "Nightmare On Wilson Way" like a really zombiefied glove, in my opinion.
