How to Train Your Dragon

This was an awesome movie. It's really a visual feast, especially in 3D. The humour in this film is really funny. The main teen characters (Hiccup, Astrid, Ruffnut & Tuffnut, Snotlout and Fishlegs) in particular are really funny when they play off each other. Although I couldn't help myself when

at the end when Astrid did the 'that's for kidnapping, that's for everything else' the second time. I thought that was adorable.

It's a great animated film with humour and heart. I'd highly recommend it.

BTW, any David Tennant fans who are going to see How to Train Your Dragon, can you help me with who Spitelout is (since that's who David voices in this film)? Because I had trouble finding him.

Streets of Fire. I really enjoyed this movie and it's music. Once I found out that it was Capcom's inspiration for Final Fight I just had to sit down and watch it!

Toy Story 3

OH MY GOODNESS!!! See this movie NOW!!!! Seriously. The toys are back and better than ever!! Everything about this film is awesome! Spanish Buzz was freaking hilarious , and the ending was truly sad. I didn't break down or anything, but my eyes did get watery. There are brilliant callbacks to the previous films and some really clever parts. It's such a brilliant film.

I encourage everyone, including Cass, to go see this movie now. I don't care how far you have to go to get to the nearest cinema. Go see this movie! Now!

Oh Jessie, you stole my heart and couldn't give it back... *swoons*

Just came back from seeing Toy Story 3 my and I agree with that above statement, Pixar has once again proven that they are the best they are at what they do.

To John and all of the men and women who worked on this picture I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me (and others) another uplifting movie going experience.

I've seen Toy Story 3 today, and it was nice to finally see the toys back in action! I watched the first Toy Story when I was 6, and Toy Story 2 when I was 10, so seeing the third part as a 20-year old man was... different, but still very enjoyable. I did get some strange looks showing up without a kid of my own, but to hell with it.

The ending was great. It was very similiar to how I gave my toys away, so that really struck a chord with me. All in all, Pixar really knows the business of making a good animated movie.

Also, the short Day & Night at the beginning - awesome.

^ I second everything you just said. Well, except the giving the toys away part. I'm too attached to mine to ever part from them.

I brought my sis to see it just over a week ago and we both loved it! Pixar has yet to disappoint us.

I am resurrecting this thread du to the fact I saw the most wonderful film on DVD. It was "The Red Baron " (2009). It is a German film, and one of the most awesome WW I films I have seen in a long time (since "The Blue Max"). Manfred Von Richtofen was well portrayed, and the flying effects were well done. I will watch it in German next time. Rent or buy this DVD if you are into history or military history, or a good biopic.

Stars, it's been ages since I saw that one. I had a lump in my throat the first time I saw it, it was so moving.
