b) what classes/courses are you taking? c) what's your school mascot? a) Either the 5th or 6th of september, depending on how they do it this year (ususally the freshmen have the first day to themselves but I dunno). b) Umm... Honors German IV, AP-BC Calculus, Honors Chemistry, Honors English 11, Honors American History II/III, Fine Arts III, Gym. I would have been in AP Studio Art (the next level of art) but I couldn't fit it in my schedule. I also wanna take Microbiology but I dunno if I can fit that in. c) Panther. Bah. |

We are already in our second full week of school, for STUDENTS; teachers had to go back a week before that! I have to work at two different schools this year, and drive back and forth between them, and they are a half-hour's drive apart! My schedule is completely screwed up, and I have no breaks at all, other than the time spent driving from one school to the other, which is also my lunch time. I have seventh and eighth grade at one school, then fourth and fifth grades at the other. All the seventh and eighth graders have to take Art, even though the state law only requires them to take it as a voluntary elective, so I get stuck with a bunch of kids who hate it, have no interest in it, and don't want to be there at all. I have to attent PTO meetings and special after-hours functions at BOTH schools, and did I mention that the school I start the day at is a forty-five minute drive from my house? Wanna hear some more good news? The school District does not pay mileage for traveling in between different schools within the district.
