MadWorld

Compare to No More Heroes, MadWorld was just as gruesome and shocking than its predecessor, from the story, gameplay and the characters themselves. It was a brutal beat'em up game, with a touch of black humor and the story itself is quite good as well. For a Wii game, it is quite fun; kinda short, but still fun.

Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden 2: The Dark Sword of Chaos for the NES. Yes, I am that old-school. And you know what else?

I beat them both.

Okay tough guy, now beat the NES version of Ninja Gaiden 3 (With it's insane enemy damage and limited continues) then we can truly call you the master.

Did that one a while ago. I probably won't do it again, though, as the time limit gets really irritating in the last level.

"You...Ashtar! That sword..." (I had to throw that quote out there!)

As have I. Never beaten the third one, though!

Mega Man (Virtual Console version). One of the hardest games I've ever played. My friend warned me ahead of time that I would end of cursing a lot while playing it, and I did (although silently). Dr. Wily's level in particular was ridiculously hard: a boss rush with four of six bosses I've previously defeated?! Geez...

So have I, and those were brutally difficult games too.

Man you guys must have the patience of saints, even to this day the "only" Ninja Gaiden game I have even beaten was the DS version. (Awesome game, unless you hated the PS3/X-box/X-box360 version's of Gaiden of which the DS version is based.)

Come to think of it the only "Nintendo Hard" game I have ever been able to beat was the original Mega Man, without having to resort to using the Pause/Elec beam trick no less.

Anyways getting back on topic the last game I played was the PS2 war sim Kessen 2, which like almost any other game Koei makes is based on the 14 century Chinese novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms"

Klonoa (Wii)

A remake of the classic playstation 1 platformer, it's a very happy shiny game complete kwaii protagonist and bright colorful levels...and also one of the most depressing endings in the history of video games. (Despite that it's still a great game)
