...And somewhere in the South would spawn a breed of children taught to draw...by a Scribble. They'll all be earning top dollar at the leading animation company in 10 or 15 years.

LOL @ Sparky's post! No need to quote it again... But that was great!

Anyhoo, if I had a scribble of my very own, I must agree with PBL and have it go to work for me and bring home the paycheck. I would feel too guilty to let it work for nothing though, so I'd care for it and love it like another pet. But if I'm going to do that, I might as well have 10 scribbles, each having a job... Yeah.

I'd have it vacuum for me, and do the dishes for me, and carry the heavy boxes of paper goods to the recycling center. And drive long distances so I can sleep in the car. Can scribbles drive? Is that even a question? And I'd have it pay my bills. Can they talk on the phone? I'd give the phone to them when telemarketers call and have them listen to the sob story of why I absolutely need to refinance my house when I don't even own a house. Can I have it breathe for me so I can swim like a mermaid without having to surface for air? Is that even a question?

If only Scribbles were real... *sigh*

Of course, y'all know if *I* had a Scribble, it'd be admining the forum right now.

That's the only real difference between an admin and a mod anyways...

Silent murder

You know, you'd get a lot of things done if only more people were murdered!

Hmm, scribble assassins... I like it.

I'm gonna need more than one, though.

Right now I'd like a scribble to get rid of whatever smells so evil in my fridge.

Naturally, we may one day need to address the problem of what will happen when the scribbles become aware of our dependency upon them and elect to overthrow their helpless, tyrannical masters and take the planet for their own...but we'll cross our bridges when we come to them, right?

Though I think we can agree for the time being that giving them weapons and training them to kill sounds like a recipe for eventual disaster.
