Wow. That's a rather scary situation.
We used to have lock down drills at my old school. No one took them seriously until the day some wierd stranger showed up and told a fifth grader to get into his car...But the fifth grader didn't. So after that, everybody forgot and took the drills as jokes again. But when there are unannounced fire drills...people actually start crying...
