She? Hanna-Barbera wasn't a she, they were two he's. Bill Hanna and Joseph Barbera, who before 1957 made Tom & Jerry cartoons at MGM, made Wacky Races in 1968. That show was supposed to have a live-action segment in which children won prizes by correctly selecting who would win each race, but CBS nixed it. Heatter-Quigley (who made Hollywood Squares) was to have produced the live segments but they still had an on-screen credit.

you have to admit it does sound like a girls name lol. thanks for clearing that up. i used to watch tom and jerry and wacky races all the time when i was a kid.
