Funny how most people automatically get the impression that the trenchcoat is a staple of gothic apparel. Yeah, those are pretty handy when in cold weather, and with me being a desert critter who considers 60 degree weather to be extremely cold, I was clinging onto it for dear life when I went to NY a few years back. They actually consider weather in the lower 40's
warm.
I actually thought someone was taking a "gothic" Wilt seriously until I saw this drawing.
