Not-So-Hopeless Romantic

It is true, the Teen Titans started out as a comic book series waaaay back when. It originally was just used as a cheap, copy cat-ish team that comprised of all the clon-ish super hero sidekicks from all the big DC super heroes.
Originally it was Robin, Kid Flash, Speedy (Green Arrow's sidekick), Aqualad (Aquaman), and Wonder Girl. As the comics evolved, they got more unique villains, better designs and of course, newer characters. Including the ones we know now. The Teen Titans cartoon show actually uses an anime like style for their series, and half of their villains are directly from the comics such as Slade, Killer Moth, Plasmus, Gizmo, and all of the Brotherhood of Evil. The other half are completely made up, Billy Numerous, Cinderblock, Johnny Rancid, Overload, Control Freak, Red X. Like I said half and half.
