The only time I've ever watched Doctor Who was The End of Time Part 2, if only for that amazing piece of music Murray Gold did for when
the Doctor regenerates. I've heard of it, and the only things I know about the show are the theme song and the Daleks. Which reminds me... I'm doing a collection of every single version of the Doctor Who theme, including the latest series with Matt Smith as the Doctor. Should I also include the version from the 1996 TV movie?

I've never really been into science-fiction (expect for Star Wars), but this show is so popular that I decided I was missing out. I'm starting on the 2005 Christopher Eccleston series, and just last month I borrowed a copy of the first dvd from a library. I liked the first episode, Rose, but the next episode, I'm assuming, looks more typical. I didn't get to see the third as I had to return the disc!
I'm a complete beginner of course- I must sound hilariously naive! Cardiff is actually my hometown, and the show is made here- it is funny for me to recognize the place when they say it is London!
