It's on the DVD set as well. And yes, its inherent sugar-rush pacing made it rather underwhelming.

I hope you have forgiven me for driving wildly off-topic earlier!
I see CMcC has put himself in one of the scenes for this special. I have read elsewhere that he has cameos in the PPG movie, and in the episode Criss Cross Crisis. I have just watched that one yesterday (probably the the one, after Meet the Beat-Alls), but I didn't spot him.

I can't think of a more appropriate place to post this, so here it is- a whole bunch of cartoon, video game and comic characters PPG-ized! I love this picture too much!
   See Blooregard, Mac, and Frankie?  And many others too. It's fun trying to recognize them all.

Very good! It is all PPG characters at the top, but I can see all sorts of faces. Some of them look a little odd, but others match perfectly! Where did you find it? I wonder what Craig would think of it
