He did. I believe it was the only thing besides "Gotta go" he said all episode. Kinda broke his stride, there.

Somebody on tv.com's forum said that the FHFIF staffing were forced by Cartoon Network to do this for their "Invaded" gimmick.

Sounds like we shouldn't believe season 5 will be like this, which is good. "Gotta go" gotta old really fast. And Frankie having the butter spilt on looked like she was hit by....yuck.

That was me, most likely. It's just a theory, actually, nothing cold-hard-factual. It just "felt" to me like the creative crew was basically told that Cartoon Network was going to be doing this big "alien invasion" theme involving several of their shows for May "sweeps", and one of them was going to be Foster's, so they had to come up with a show that would fit that theme. It's entirely possible that I'm wrong, but that's my "gut feeling" on it. I guess we'll be better able to tell how Season Five is REALLY going to shape up once "The Buck Swaps Here" debuts.

I just hope for the sake of CN that the next episode rocks! I don't want it to end up being cancelled quickly, like The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, and Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. That would suck big time!

No wonder it's not as good as the other episodes! The crew had no say in the matter!

I SO totally forgive the staff now.

I don't really think that had anything to do with it, and if that was the case, I really didn't notice. In fact the only episode I truly felt that was vacant of the Foster's crew "team magic" was the Goo episode "Make believe it or not". Which reminds me, that was WAY more alien orientated then "Cheese a go-go".

If they were coaxed into it over this whole Invaded thing, I'm surprised they just didn't use that Goo episode instead of going to the trouble of making a show that has NOTHING to do with aliens, try to work in an alien plot. Hell, why don't they just have a Ben 10 marathon or air a new episode of it instead?

I mean that show is all ABOUT aliens. Anyways, after watching this episode a second time, I noticed a few things that left me with a few questions.

1. We know why Bloo, Madame Foster, Eduardo, Coco, and Jackie Khones were arrested, but why was Mac and Wilt brought in? What did they do exactly?

2. How could anyone be certain Cheese or a lot of these imaginary friends aren't aliens or monsters from other locations? I mean, Bloo may have been too nutty to know the difference but seriously, how would an average human being know the difference between an imaginary friend and a real monster?

3. This is just something weird and probably doesn't require answering but, how come Eduardo goes to the dentist for his teeth and Coco gets hers done by Wilt? We saw him doing it in "Where there's a Wilt there's a way".

I'm glad someone else was wondering that to! I thought I was all alone I mean, Madame Foster acted up while Mac was with her, but that doesn't give them a reason to put an eight-year old in jail! Honestly, what is happening to our legal system? And Wilt.......he was trying to stop Ed, not suck out anyone's brain......poor guys gotta be sick of being stuck in jail by now

Other than my confusion, this episode wasn't actually all that bad, there are episodes that are worse. Despite Cheese screaming "Gotta go gotta go!" I really got a kick out of some parts......and I really feel for Frankie sometimes....

The torrent site MySpleen has just uploaded a very good quality version of "Cheese A Go-Go". You have to register an account first, but it's free to do so...it's where I go for all my new Foster's eps.

This version of it still has the CN Invaded intro (still yet to see the re-animated credits), but the end credit sequence is there...those who felt unduly worried about Frankie would probably feel a bit better after seeing them, I think. For those who want to be spoiled:

Spoiler Below
It's just a short sequence of Frankie sat in her car outside the Foster's mansion with Madame Foster still yammering away at her on her mobile. She's just about to depart, when Cheese suddenly leaps over the top of the car and takes off down the street, once again yelling "gotta go!" Frankie looks panicked for a moment, obviously contemplating giving chase, but then stops herself, calmly says "No, wait; when you gotta go, you gotta go.", and then drives off with a smile, with Cheese continuing to scream his way down the street.

See? No harm done; she's a tough old girl.

I don't see how humans would be able to distinguish between Imaginary Friends and monsters, either, for that matter. Many of the IFs, including Eduardo, would certainly qualify as monsters.

I guess that Wilt just isn't qualified to administer controlled substances. You know Ed-he's not just gonna sit there and let somebody pull a tooth; he probably would freak out at the mere throught of a Novocaine needle! He'd have to be given some pretty strong stuff, and you'd definately have to have a medical license to have that on hand.
