Okay, I love this guy.

I find it's easier to think of him as green jell-o than snot...

I have a question, though. Has he ever spoken in any of the episodes? Or is he mute, d'ya think?

I definitely like the Jell-O idea better. I don't recall ever hearing him speak.

He spoke when Mr. Herriman was trying to show this couple an active friend,but all the friends were being lazy and lying around.
