Fossil Replica: Velociraptor Claw
My sister got this for me off eBay and it came in the mail today.
Two inches long as described. The edge is kind of sharp like a real claw, it even feels real, which is cool. I plan on collecting more items like these. And my sister wanted me to say that she's "the best sister in the world"

Looks pretty real, too. Nice button there, too, by the way.

Wow good stuff! You can sort of extrapolate from that how big the beastie actually was. It's like part one of one of those magazine series- 'Make your own Velociraptor in 40 months'. It'd have to come with a warning.
Your sister is the best sister in the whole world.

That's really neat-looks like a real claw! This is one critter I really wish they could "bring back", through cloning or bird gene manipulation or whatever. I would totally want a pack of these! I'd give one to every person whose Pit Bull or Rottweiler or other dog was taken away and killed when their government passed breed bans on the grounds that the dogs were dangerous, just to put things in real perspective. I'd give a paycheck to see Cesar Milan work with one!

I've never heard of that magazine before, it sounds neat.

Koos was speaking theoretically by giving an example. That magazine doesn't actually exist. Although I agree, something like that would be really neat.
That is a pretty sweet find there Mac-a. Starting a collection sounds like an awesome idea. Looks like it's off to a good start.
