Default R.I.P. Dom DeLuise

Dom DeLuise, comic actor (The Cannonball Run, Silent Movie, Blazing Saddles) and cartoon voice (Evictus on The Roman Holidays, Koosalagoopagoop on Dexter's Laboratory), has died at age 75. More about him here.

Aw no.
This is the first I heard of this. Oh crumbs, that's so sad. He had such a great voice and always seemed such a funny, sweet man. I really feel like I've lost a little bit of myself.I always hoped he'd turn up as Koos again somewhere but now it can never be. Goodnight Dom. Goodnight Koos and everyone else he brought to life.

Well this completely bums me out.
He used to be one of my top favorite voice-actors from films such as The Secret of Nimh and An American Tale.

Aww, shame that. To be honest, I've never been a fan of Don Bluth's movies - even the 80s stuff kind of bugs me - but Dom DeLuise definitely added a dash of character to the ones he was in. I'll mainly remember him as the voice of Fagin in Disney's Oliver and Company (a role which he pulled off fantastically), and for his small but vital appearance at the beginning of The Muppet Movie. Sleep well, Dom.

That's terrible news.:-( It doesn't need to be said that his passing is a terrible loss.

I just found out about this on yahoo. I was really into the Don Bluth movies when I was a kid and he always had the best characters. Such a wonderful voice. Just thinking about it now makes me smile. Rest in Peace Dom. You'll always be remembered as one of the best parts of my childhood.

That's a downer, Dom was great in pretty much every role he was in, no matter how big or how small.

This is horrible, horrible news. I too loved him as Tiger in An American Tale and Jeffery in Secret of Nihm. He had a memorable voice. This is so sad. Sir DeLouise, you'll surely be missed. RIP

I couldn't believe my eyes, when I read about Dom DeLuise. He was a great actor. I remembered him for his roles in many Don Bluth films. Mr. DeLuise will be missed.

I read this today and was equally shocked, such a shame such a dedicated actor who brought such life and humor and character to his roles. His work in Don Bluth's films, especially All Dogs go to heaven was absolutely memorable.

I loved his sense of humor, specially as the director in Blazing Saddles. Man, goodbye and thanks for all the memories Dom, the world doesn't seem as fun without you being in it it.

Real shame Dom, real shame .
