I hear you there Lynnie...it's pretty much the same for me. Christmas as a kid was a fun, magical time, I remember always getting butterflies when Christmas Eve came along, and it always seemed to take forever to arrive. And yep, I'd go crazy when any Christmas adverts came on. The music helped too. Best of all was the whole occasion of being around friends and family and just having a good time.

Nowadays, I just want it all to disappear as fast as it came, to be honest...pretty much the only thing I enjoy about it still is the family getting together. Like you said, it's just become commercialised beyond belief. Despite my dislike of this time of year though, I still can't help listening to festive songs, and I always make some seasonal artworks to celebrate it. I guess that's just the inner kid in me, lol.
