The salon has always been used as something of a hangout. Beats me why. I considered adding a coffee bar in an unused shop but there wouldn't be much point at present; if the game crashed, and it still does that more often than not, any socializing that might have gone on would be erased. I could spend an entire day there getting two strangers to know and really like each other and it would all be for nothing.
I'm running the game as I type this. I can't play the NF house right now because the game has inexplicably relinked you and xxxClaire as mother and daughter. SimPE will fix that when I exit the game. In the meantime, I am now entering the Wildebrat residence; Blake Superior is always fun to play.
