It was supposed to be released last year in October 2007 but a last minute hitch knocked it back a whole year. Now its highly likely it will be released this year but they haven't officially said if it will be or not.
The writers strike caused a lot of problems and movie dates/schedules to switch around because of it. I really, really, REALLY want to see Trick R'Treat badly. Its one of the movies I have been most anxious and anticipated to see.
