At my local Walgreens they banned one particularly annoying customer awhile back. This woman stopped in the store 4-5 times per day but rarely bought anything, seemed to think that the salespeople were there to socialize with her, called them while they were at work because she felt the need to chat, and tried (and failed)to get a date with every single male worker in the store. She occasionally tried to get stuff for free ("Do I have to pay for this?") and thought that she ought to get special service, like requesting that someone who was clearly busy with another task open a register so she wouldn't have to wait in line like everybody else. They put up with her as best they could but were clearly unhappy with her showing up all the time and making a complete and total pest of herself. The final straw came when she and the manager were talking and she said something ridiculous; he laughed and said she was crazy, but not in a harsh or hateful way, more playful than anything else. She went home and started telling people stories about the mean man at Walgreens who called her a crazy b****.
It did not happen that way!. The rest of the staff came under fire, too, because they were too busy to deal with her, so she started talkin' smack behind their backs. Well, her antics eventually got back to them, largely because I made damn sure to tell them what I heard, and within a week the manager banned her from the property. Did I mention that the woman in question is one of my most annoying neighbors? Yeah, her; I've told a few of you some stories about her and her antics. She's no longer allowed in Walgreens; the day after the banning I went to pick up a few supplies, ran into the manager, and we both smirked and gave each other a high-five. Everybody wins... 'cept my horrid neighbor and the CVS across the street.
