I never understood that (the anime thing). It really irks me that they think there's something so inherently shameful about cartoons that they need to find reasons why anime doesn't fall under that category (cartoons are animation, anime is animated, ANIME = CARTOONS PEOPLE ARGH HATE HATE HATE). It's like saying the Mona Lisa isn't a painting because it's
