Unfortunately, I've thought of another possible plot.
One/some people in the normal, real world are playing The Sims 2 and then...(that's right) they get sucked into the game!! Ooo. And then they have to help the residents with some issue or another. And possibly convince them that they have no real free will and that they should be free or something.
Just because it worked in Pleasantville doesn't mean it will work here. It sounds dumb already.
