I enjoy violence as much as the next gore fan, but I just can't enjoy it the same way as I do in horror movies. That would be like if I pictured this same gruesome stuff in Darkwing Duck, or Tale Spin, or even Foster's.
It's just something that makes me feel crappy inside and I don't know how else to explain it.

Honestly, I can't bring myself to enjoy it. I just can't. Not in animation or Hollywood films. I don't think your reaction is "wussy" at all. On the contrary, it's completely normal. Blood and gore is something we've come to expect in Texas Chainsaw Massacre and every other mass-produced horror flick, but
cartoons? It's even more disturbing to me in this manner.
