I really like this one; believe it or not, our preacher preached a Sunday sermon not too long ago based on this song(he's 26, by the way, and a BIG Foster's fan). The whole concept was how even as adults, many of us get caught up in petty things like who's wearing the nicest clothes, or has the biggest house, or who's sleeping around with whom, and choosing doing what it popular over doing what is RIGHT. To make his point-and again, I remind you that he's 26, a former animation students, and tends to find rather off-beat ways of doing things-he actually wore a t-shirt, a worn-out pair of jeans, and some old Reeboks in the pulpit, to see if anyone would complain, and think that he could not do his job unless he wore a suit and tie, being too caught up in an image rather than the MESSAGE itself. Sure enough, one woman did, pitching a hissy fit and threatening to withdraw her membership from the church, totally missing the whole point of him doing that, or comparing people like her with image-concious high school kids! Everyone else, even church members older than she was, got it.
