At least we know now WHY Wilt is SOMETIMES a spineless pushover, and knowing that makes this aspect of him more acceptable. We've also seen that he does have a VERY tough and resolute side to him when it's needed, so it's difficult to pin down Wilt as being one way or another. Knowing his history, and seeing that he is, for the most part, still caring and optimistic most of the time, makes him that much more interesting and loveable. I don't know of other fictional character who can match Wilt's personality. I'm hoping that now that he's reunited with his creator, and come to terms with his past, Wilt will have more confidence in himself and not be quite as worried about upsetting or disappointing others, to the point that he does act like a whipped dog. He will always be kind, selfless and caring, but at least now he shouldn't feel as much guilt about sticking up for himself and doing things for himself once in awhile, because he certainly deserves it.
