I agree. Sonic really
is much cooler than most of the videogame icons from the time the Sonic franchise first made it big (early to mid 90's, I think) and even today and the only one that is probably a bigger vg icon
is Mario, in my opinion. The original Sonic the Hedgehog games on the Sega Genesis are my ultimate favorite games from the series-I have a lot of good memories of them, especially when I used to play them over at my cousin's house when I was around 7 or 8. Great times, great times.
I remember the old cartoon that came out in the early to mid 90's, too. Those are some good memories as well.
