I took my 17 Month old son out. He was a Pumpkin. My wife would not let me dress him up as Bloo. Besides I really do not have time for sewing (I still have 5 panels left to the curtains from last year.

All the same it was fun, he loved being in his waggon in the Dark and meeting the neighbors. not to mention now my wife and I get to eat all the candy. He gets to keep the toddler safe treats.
Next year he will proboly dress as a fosters character, since his third Favorate show is Fosters. His First is Gonzo presents: Muppet Wierd Stuff and second is Elmo's World.
