I think it's safe to say every one of us here has a special appreciation for animation, so you're far from alone. Just this weekend I binge watched both movies and all three seasons of the [second] series for How to Train Your Dragon, gearing up for the release of the fourth season which is suppose to be coming later this month, and I still have that "high". We get such an attachment to these characters, they become like real friends. There's so few people who I can geek out over stuff like that anymore. I'm the same way with Foster's, but it's been a while since I've seen it since I'm in tyre same boat as Sparky; Boomerang isn't even available with my cable company.
