My bad, it's been many years since I've scene the pilot episode. Wasn't that originally a movie? The pilot was a movie I think. There weren't any in the main series. The episode where Terrence has Eduardo fight at the junkyard were just random imaginary friends. Nothing as extreme as that first episode IF.
