REALTEK SUCKS.

Anyways, if you're talking about the sound card that's built into your computer, then what you have to do is, go into your BIOS and turn the built in one off, then remove its driver. If you don't disable the built in card in BIOS the computer will keep "finding" it and reinstalling its driver. I can't remember if you install the new one before or after doing this though. I think its before but I could be wrong.

Do a Google search and try to find a good article on this before doing anything. Its been ages since I replaced my built-in card with a PCI. Try Googling "replace built in sound card" or something like that.
