MAJOR update!
I've just started semester 2, but first, a bit on semester 1:
We learned the basics of Adobe programs Premiere Pro and Encore, as well as tips and tricks for Photoshop. For our final assignment, we had to do a group task of doing a DVD promoting a fictional island called Wazza's Island (You can't get more Australian than that!!
).
I did the video editing, filming (since I now have a video camera of my own!
), DVD menu creating, and a bit of acting. The others did acting, Photoshop, and After Effects. The end result was good, and I passed.
Now, for semester 2! This time, we're doing an individual film of our own for the final assignment. The main task is to do a documentary on a product of some sort, but I think the teacher said that we don't HAVE TO do a doco. If that's the case, then I've already got an idea for my film!
We'll also be learning how to use Adobe programs After Effects and Soundbooth.
I can't wait to get started on my film!
