You have given this much thought.

I don't think anyone can be truly original in the way they dress. Clothes are clothes. A shirt will always be a shirt. Pants will always be pants. Shoes will always be shoes.

I don't know very much about these sort of things, and if I do know "something," it's probably not even true. In fact, I don't even know what I'm thinking. I guess I just live in my own little world.

I don't give things like this much thought. But I do believe that people shouldn't lose their identity to conforming. Or maybe just be who you really are. Don't conform just so you can "fit in" and be "cool" and "popular." To me, identity theft isn't just losing personal information because someone stole your social secuirty number and all that kind of stuff. To me, identity theft is losing your personal uniqueness by conforming to the rules of society.

I don't think I've every met a "goth" or an "emo" in person, so I'm probably contradicting myself left and right.

Personally, I thnk Kzinistzerg is right.
