Foster's MUD?
 

I was wondering...

Could we put up our own MUD? It would have to be monitored, of course, as it's for kids. But think of the imginaries we could make!

It sounds cool, but near to impossible to make or find...:(

If somebody wants to do that they may, but it won't officially be part of this site or anything (in other words, I'm not doing it, and I'm not hosting it). There will probably be rp rooms in the chatroom eventually, but I know it won't be quite like a MU*.

I used to be itnerested in starting a MUCK a long while ago (Disney's Aladdin-based) but I couldn't get together enough people who knew how to actually program one, so obviously I was never ale to do it. :P I like MUCKs and MUSHes.

I don't think it's impossible. I do believe, however, that it takes a lot of time and effort to get it going.

It sounds great, but I must admit it would take a long time to get running. But if we do agree on this. FANTASTIC! :D

I've never actually participated in one before but that's mainly because I couldn't decide on one to jon.^^; If anyone did want to make one, I'd love to give it a shot, but I don't know anything about programming so I wouldn't be much help, sorry!

Good idea but no payoff.
