Boy was I productive today!

Coming at ya firstly is a picture of Wilt, supporting an idea I got a few days back. Now my best buddy tells me Wilt is a 'Helper friend' and has been listed as such somewhere. I don't know where, and she claims to not remember. But either way, what if, just think about this. What if before Wilt came to Foster's, and before he was the selfless red guy we know he was a self centered insensitive sarcastic jerk who thought he was hot stuff because of his basketball skills? Maybe through loosing his creator, his possible memories, and his arm/eye caused him to become the nice guy we know now? Either way, I drew a 'full' Wilt being a bit of a snarky boy.

Second up, I asked within the chatroom today for something to draw. ORD, feeling slightly nervous, asked if I would draw him and the Foster's group. I felt that was a sweet little idea, so in a few short minutes I drew a Foster-sized ORD with Wilt, Coco, Eduardo and Bloo on the couch.

I am incredibly happy with it!

Next up is a picture I drew a few weeks ago when Haunted Mansion aired here on Australia. I'd seen the movie in theatres and just spent a Sunday night watching it for nostalgia purposes. I like ghost movies. But only the milder ones. You wouldn't get me near Poltergeist if you tried. The imaginary who got the ghost treatment was Wilt, doomed to wander the hallways of Fosters chained to a basketball.

And lastly, Sparky suggested I draw her questioning Mac 'n Terrence's (look, spelt right! ;D) Mum if she knows where her sons are. We all know from the show she rarely interacts with her sons due to her crazy work schedule, so the poor woman is a big 'not there'. Poor boys. But either way I drew Sparky, as well as her lovely little bird Kiwi. I love birds, so I had to include her.

I kinda like the idea of Wilt being a bit of a cocky jerk in his younger years.

Wow, awesome, each and every one. I LOVE the first idea.

Yeah, me too! I know a lot of people find it hard to believe that someone as nice as Wilt could have EVER been an arrogant jerk, but I've lived long enough to have seen first-hand how much a person can change. Sometimes it just takes the effects of time, or the right role model(s), to mellow someone out, but with others, it DOES take that proverbial "Blinding flash of light on the road to Damasus" scenario, in which that jerk of a person experiences some horrific physical and/or emotional trauma, that shakes up their world so much, it changes them forever, for the better. I have no trouble believing that such a thing could have happened to Wilt, altering not only his physical appearance, but his entire outlook on life, and his treatment of others. It's easy for me to believe he might have been a walking, basketball-shootin' version of "Lightning McQueen"-loud-mouthed, self-centered, arrogant, all about win, win, WIN-until whatever happened to him, happened.
