OBIT--Don Pardo
 

For the better part of the last 40 years, Don Pardo was the rich, deep, and oft mocked voice who introduced NBC's Saturday Night Live. Pardo, who died last night at age 96, was the announcer of the original versions of The Price Is Right and Jeopardy! and was among the first on November 22, 1963 to break into regular programming with the bulletin that President Kennedy had been shot in Dallas, Texas.
