The New Sherlock Holmes Movie

I'm not sure if any of you guys out there are, but I've always been a great Sherlock Holmes fans, ever since I started reading the books a few years ago.

Anyways, unbeknown to your knowledge or not, Warner Bros. are making a Sherlock Holmes movie starring Robert Downey Jr. (He's awesome  ) and they actually just released a trailer for it this weekend.

Here it is.

And I just wanted to know if there are any others interested in the movie, and if so, what are your opinions on the trailer.

I've always liked Sherlock Holmes, although I probably wouldn't be considered a huge fan. It's the late Victorian Era that I enjoy, and I do like the story's style of mystery and suspense. I enjoyed the preview, it looks like something I would enjoy watching. I don't go to the movies very often so I don't see these previews. So thank you for sharing it! :)

I'm no Sherlock Holmes fan either, but I do like to see previews of movies just to see what they're going to be like. But I did like the part where Sherlock had the small hammer and tried to hit the big guy who had a bigger one! Typical Robert Downey Jr! 8D

BTW, for those of you wondering what that butt-kicking music was from 1:04 to the end? It's called Unstoppable by E.S. Posthumus

I saw this trailer a couple of days ago. I think it actually looks pretty darn cool! I'll probably go see it when it comes out.:) Love Robert Downey Jr.:P

In my opinion, it looks like a great movie, but not necessary a great Sherlock Holmes adaption :P

Meaning, yes, Holmes is usually witty, but I find this Holmes too comedic :jk:

And in the books he was renowned as a master of disguise, someone who's able to play any persona. Watson actually stated "When Holmes decided to become a detective, science lost a great mind and the stage lost a great actor" (Yes, I'm a fanboy  )

And I don't really see it in this Holmes. I could be wrong though. ;D
