Creepy Japanese Game: Yume Nikki

I started playing this very recently, and it affected me so much I had to make a fansite for it when I couldn't find one...

Anyways Yume Nikki, or "Dream Diary," was created with RPG Maker 2003 in 2004 by a guy named Kikiyama. It's about a shut-in who spends all her time sleeping and exploring a dream world. There's all kinds of freaky-&$#@ things in the dream world to see and interact with. The game itself messed me up, but then I had to go and examine the game files and now I haven't been able to sleep the past few nights, lol.

The game is free to download, here is the latest English version. Visit my fanpage for info and guides.

Obviously, links lead to a game containing "video-gamey nightmarish horror." But it's not like, graphic or whatever. Just creepy.

Has anyone else played it already? It has been out already for several years, but I only heard about it less than a week ago.

I haven't played it, but it definantely looks like something up my alley. I'll download it in awhile and give it a try, and come back with my thoughts later.

I played it and completed it after a while (with a walkthrough, yeah I'm pathetic) and the ending just makes me think a lot...I wish there were more theories to read - I'm too lazy to think of one. =P
