Boredom in class

We had some free time during my Anatomy class so I got very bored and pulled out some fine point sharpies I'd bought for it. This is what turned out:

Honestly I've been struggling like crazy to draw him right for awhile now. It always turns out really bad and awkward. That's always with a pencil. For some reason when I used those sharpies it came out so much fluidly. D;

Sorry for the camera phone picture I had to take. I think I may invest in a scanner with my next paycheck.

I've said it before, and I shall say it again... You used sharpies?? Impressive, I'd never have the guts to do that. Great job TB! Aw, such a great smile! :D

I too have been thinking about getting a scanner...

Thank yooou~:D

Yeah, I almost never use pens/markers/anything that I can't correct a mistake. I'm guessing using them caused a sort of psyche out for me. It's like my mind yelling "omg don't you DARE make a mistake!"

That is so freaking adorable XD You did a great job, I love his pose, and the way you made him smile is just...it stands out for some reason, like he's super happy about something =D

Awesome job, I love it =D!

I too would be afraid to use Sharpies... they're so permanent!! You make one mistake, you can't go back! (unless you use an overhead projector thingy.) Really great work.

Nice work! I don't use Sharpies to draw with though, or any other markers, since I prefer the option of erasing until I'm 100% satisfied with the work. Sharpies tend to go right through most paper, too, and if they get on the table or desk, there's not much that will remove that ink. You can't remove that ink from overhead projectors, either; those markers are Vis-A-Vis markers, made to wipe off of plastic or other non-porous surfaces. As a teacher, I go through those like Eduardo through a sack of spuds.

Thanks guys, I'm really proud at the way it turned out. :-[ I've been doodling during Pharmacology last hour(I know I know, bad TB, pay attention in class!) and I think I may be using these markers from now on. I found out they're not Sharpies persay, but Bic fine point markers. They're still permanent ink markers but yeah, just throwing that out there. 8D

My best friend always uses perm. markers when she draws too, and I never understood why. Now I know better! :D

Impressive work!:D

Some others I did today. ^^; They aren't very exciting poses and he looks a little moody in all of them, but I promise next time it'll be more big smiles. :P

That last one I went too far down with the red, so he's sockless in it. 8D
