Mr. Cruise: Here We Go Again
So once again I find myself embarking on yet another trip across the states. As of today I'm an employee of the NCLA. I'll be working in the kitchen on a cruise ship in Hawaii. I can hardly contain my excitement.
In the next few weeks I shall undergo training to become a Merchant Marine under advisement from the Coast Guard. Wow, talk about an adventure. This entire process shall take up to ten weeks, so I guess I'll keep you guys updated. |
That sounds great.! Congratulations! :D Just remember to be careful on the high seas.

Adventure on the high seas, eh? Very brave of you, I like to feel solid earth beneath my feet and get horribly sea-sick but I'm sure THE PACIFIC OCEAN is more pleasant than the North Sea.
Fair play to you! |
Best of luck to you, Aero. Have fun cruising those Hawaiian Islands. ;D

cool. My old man was a Coastie, went to the 'Pole a couple of times, puttered around Greenland and Iceland. Got some cool pics of icebergs and a Soviet ship that was following their ice breaker up into the 'circle and stealing the sonar datya they were pinging out.
They stopped and let the ice freeze around the "Vladmir Lenin" and then continued on their way. A Rusky ship had to come and break the Reds out 8D |
Wow, that sounds awesome. Best of luck to you Aerostar! Have fun! :)
|
Have a great time, dude! Bring us back some stories! :D
And a crate of pineapple. 8D |
Have Fun on the cruise! have fun, and show us something!
|
But, hold on, I still don't go to training for almost a month. I'll be going to Maryland first. Wow, I just can't wait. I'll be learning firefighting, CPR, watercraft skills. This is going to take me really far in life.

That sounds awesome, but the thread title made me think Tom Cruise had said something stupid again. :B
