has anyone beaten the fourth level on this game? the one where the large egg is trapped in a square? I mean lord, lord... does anyone have any advice? insane.

Are you talking about Cracked Up, the other Coco game?

I don't recall the egg being trapped in a box in the Eggsplosion game. Also, which Game Level are you referring to? Game 1, Game 2 or Game 3? That would help narrow it down.

I believe that is in Game 3 of all Cracked up . Do a seach of this forum and you should find information about that game in its own thread, I remember posting to it around last september

oh man, my bad, I totally messed up with the name. yeah, I meant all cracked up. Sorry all.

So I searched the forum for all kinds of variations of cracked up and got squat. Anyway, yes it's game 3 and yes it's all cracked up.

I searched and had to just use the word "Cracked" because it wouldn't search using more than 1 word. You could try "Cracking" also.

Try using the Advanced Search option (click on Search, then Advanced Search). Put in Cracked and then narrow your search down to just this message board (BFAHP). You should get a list of about 11 different topics that will have Cracked in the posts.

Here's the old Cracking Up post. If you don't find the advice you seek in there, let me know.

The advice there is good. Sort of stuff I'd already considered. I think it's just a case of one of those levels that's inordinately harder than even levels afterward. I couldn't believe people have moved past level four of game three, until totally by sheer chance I did so myself. Then I lost it on the next level and haven't been able to get back. I think I'm going to have to let that last prize slide.

Okay, here is how I go about passing Level 4 on Game 3 in Cracking Up. Pray for an hour glass or extra life, because you'll need either one. Grapple is nice, but anything is is pointless.

You start off with a Giant egg in a boxed in area. I wait until the egg is just starting to the left passing under the ladder and I jump down. I follow it as far as I can to the left and break it. Now I've got 2 Large eggs. I focus on one half at a time, moving to the right as I shoot fast. I'll break 1 Large, then break it again and then break the little egg. So now I have 1 Large, 1 Med and 1 Small egg.

I turn left and go under the Large egg as it's coming to me toward the right. I'll either get the Med egg (easiest) or go under it also and grab the Small egg first. As the Large and Med eggs are coming at me, I break the Large egg and shoot as fast as I can to break up the Med egg and it's 2 Small ones, or just blast as fast as I can to break up all the remaining egg parts.

It's easiest for me to duck under the Large egg at the beginning and then get it later, after I've gotten rid of the Small eggs. Trying to get a whole bunch of Small and Med eggs at once is just too hard and gets to be where you don't have much room to move. So that's why I focus on one Large egg and break it up completely and then work on the other Large egg.

I also try to keep my rope between me and the eggs, that way they will hit the rope, before they get close enough to me to hurt me.

I hope all this helps!! You can apply this to Level 5 and beyond, where there are other boxed in areas.
