i watched this video about this city in UAE called Dubai. It's so cool, I'll show A Few Buildings Being Proposed or Under constrution.

Jumeirah is about completed, expected completion in 2007
Deira is expected on 2015, the largest palm.

those resort islands seem pretty neat, a little too upper class for me, though

Besides, they're making more buildings more than The US and NYC.

Excuse my blatant patriotism, but I really hope we come back in the whole skyscraper scene. The fact that we haven't had anything to show for ourselves in height since the 70's is disgraceful. Though for style I think we still have something left. Though nothing like they have in other countries, and definitely nothing like what we had before the rise of glass curtain skyscrapers.
