I like them. ;D I can't do backgrounds either, so I play around with filters, textures, and picture tubes on Paint Shop Pro to make mine. They look kind of cool, and there's no actual drawing involved. ;)

I left you a comment on DA, but I'll have to share my observation with those here who might not be on DA.

I LOVE these, ESPECIALLY that one that you're using for your avatar. As soon as I saw that grin, I couldn't help but to think, "Man, Wilt really DOES remind me of Randall!" I could just imagine him saying in that "Lord Snotzax" voice, "Say hello to the Scream Extractor....I mean, if that's OK!"
