DJ and Voice Talent Casey Kasem Taken off Life Support
 

Casey Kasem, best known for "America's Top Forty" and many cartoon voices; particularly Norville "Shaggy" Rogers of "Scooby Doo", was taken off life support by his daughter.

That being said (in the next few days), RIP Casey Kasem 1932 - 2014.

The quest to find Casey has been huge news in my state the last month or so, as you can imagine. He's in a hospital in the Seattle area. Makes me sick how his daughters and wife have been fighting over his care. His wife is crazy, and just wanting attention. She was on the news both without realizing she was being filmed, and also doing a press conference during which she put on a dramatic phoney act. She's a total &^%+*! His daughters actually care, and still love him.

I listened to his "Casey's Top 40" during my high school days, I still have his voice locked in my memory. It'll be sad to see him go. :bloosad:

Kasem died this morning.

Once again, we've lost one of the great ones. Rest easy, Kasey, and know that you'll be missed by many. :bloosad:

Been reading about an incident back on the 2nd where his wife threw hamburger at his kids from a previous marriage. Weird. :P
