The Official Short Discussion Thread

Well, since it was said in the 'Badvertisement' thread that there should be a thread for ALL the threads so they're easier to keep track of.

Anyway, I couldn't find a thread on a particular short I caught about ten minutes ago (I didn't even know they aired on TV in Britain), so... 'Birthday Cake Bloos'? Anyone seen this one before, cos I've certainly never heard of it until now...

No, haven't heard of that one...

Uh oh...was it me who said that? Because I certainly think each short should have its own discussion thread...we can use this one for discussing shorts in general though.

You know what I loved about the Foster's shorts, as impossible as it was to find them in the beginning, you could always count on them appearing on eventually at Youtube.com............now not so much anymore :(.

Cartoon Network being the [explicit deleted] has just YANKED the "pizza short" from my youtube account and pretty much eliminated EVERY SINGLE short from youtube with the exception of the "zapped up" one.

Gee, thanks alot CN, as if I didn't have enough problems to worry about.

The supercartoonnetwork.co.uk site has two new shorts: A Chore Thing and Hide and Bloo Seek. These were decent, not the best shorts ever. Hide and Bloo Seek was better.

I just saw one, called "Backpack Attack", where
Spoiler Below
Jackie Khones asks Bloo about Mac's backpack, which makes Bloo want to know "What is UP with his backpack??" One of Bloo's ideas involve spitting orange juice on Mac's red t-shirt. When Mac takes the shirt off...

The white sleeves turn out to be a WHITE SWEATER.

But Bloo still doesn't give up, and tears his backpack off, and dumps out the contents, revealing basic school junk.

THEN Jackie asks Eduardo "What's up with Coco's eggs?" which leads Eduardo running after Coco, and then the short ends.

Didn't you know that M ac wore a sweater under his shirt? When Terrence holds him up by the back of his shirt at the very beginning of the piot, his shirt is lifted up a little showing the sweater underneath...

Nope, only his skin is shown then. Sorry.

Really? Well, whether it's shown on the pilot or not, Mac has always worn a sweater underneath his shirt... I have no idea how I knew that though...

FailedShapeshifter 07-04-2007 01:42 PM

I think we see his sweater in Seeing Red....I'm not sure *runs to find DVD*

Sparky 07-04-2007 02:52 PM

I don't know if it's a "sweater" or not but its plainly obvious he wears a longsleeve white shirt under a red t-shirt...The little black marks on the white sleeves could indicate a sweater though, easy.
