Hyoomanized Bloo (+ Cheese and Wilt)

I know some Foster's fans don't like seeing the friends turned into humans, so apologies for those individuals. Though the topic's title should've been clear enough, so what are you doing here in the first place?

Besides the obvious blue colour I wanted to be loyal to the original design and make Bloo-boy a blob (and I actually kept his head "door-shaped"). I have no idea how old he is; his nature is a mixture of a small kid and a teenager, so.. yeah. And because his fingers are rarely shown I gave him long sleeves to cover up his hands.

Bloo, Cheese and Wilt
I'm sorry about how Wilt turned out. I got the design pretty much how I wanted but my drawing skills are apparently afraid of the red basketball friend. Cheese, on the other hand, kinda reminds me of the main kid of Rugrats. I don't know where that came from.

Bloo, Bloo and Bloo
These are brand new, scribbled last night. Now he looks kinda younger or at least shorter, the hoodie is bigger and the pants are baggier. I like these more than the ones before, now he looks mischievous and childish like the real Bloo.

Phew, well, there you go. A helluva bunch of doodles.

You mean Tommy Pickles? :D

I am so very jealous of your skillz. ;____;

And Cheese freaks me out, but that's a good thing. A++++++!!!

Do you have a deviantart account? If not, you should. <3

8D I'm glad I'm not the only one to think of Cheese as Tommy. :wiltshock:

Nice work there, Jii.

Oh wow! :D That's awesome!! :] I love it when people humanize the characters! I expecially love how you did Wilt's hair :) it looks just like him!!! and I like the way you kept Bloo's head "door-Shaped" :]:bloogrin

and the Cheese is just awesome xDD

Jabberwocky 12-02-2006 01:31 PM

Those are rad. I love your style. Cheese looks great. He reminds me of Salad Fingers. 8D

Edit: I never noticed my habit. Of talking in. Short choppy sentences. Wow I am like. Captain Kirk.

You definately have a very recognisable style, Bloo looks fantastic especially the motion of him running. Wilt looks great too, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who shaped his 'lobes' into his hair style, and Cheese does indeed terrify me and remind me of Tommy Pickles at the same time.

Great work!

You're a good artist who should draw your own comic strip, yeah, you're that good. :D

To me,Cheese looked like Golum. :wiltshock:

I agree with everyone's comments ~ you are very talented & should be a cartoonist! Great work.

That's amazing work, seriously that looks really good. It reminds me of that style of animation used on "Monster Allergy", I think they look great as humanized characters. Especially Cheese.

Bloo looks great, the only thing is he sounds a bit young vocally compared to the age you've placed him at. But it's not a major biggie so don't let it upset you. If you could, I would KILL to see how you turn Coco into a human.

Ricky Fieldmouse 12-02-2006 02:51 PM

Part of me doesn't want to see those pics. 0_0

Bloo: The "Come oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnn nn!" part looked like it was from some quirky anime show. Like Bo-bo-bo-bo-bo-bo-bo-bo

Cheese: [Insert Goosebumps theme song here]

Wilt: *Eye twitch*

Emma 12-02-2006 03:36 PM

GOD DAMN MAN!!! WHY CAN'T I BE YOU!!!???

Seriously, these are amazing and beyond any humanized toon I've ever seen!

InsaneFan 12-03-2006 07:34 PM

YOOOOOOOMG! LOVE!!! Do the rest, PLEASE!!

QUOTED 4 TRUTH.

It's very realistic, and I loved you remade the episodes with Bloo as human. Cheese is creepy but reminds me of no-one. He still looks kinda IF-ish.

Nice job, Jii. You're the best artist I know on Never Forgotten. (no offense to others. There are tons of good ones here. :))

LaBlooGirl 12-04-2006 05:14 PM

OMG that is brilliant! Jii your ability to humanize the Foster's characters is perhaps the best I've seen yet, because it really reminds you of them. Especially Cheese, that kinda freaked me out as well! (He kinda reminds you a little of Eddy from Ed, Ed, n Eddy, doesn't he?)
I loved Wilt, he looked cute. ^_^ (And goofy, which is so him.)

Bloo's so cute. I just wanna squeeze him. XD

some guy you dont know 12-04-2006 05:23 PM

cool, but has anyone else noticed that wilt kinda looks like carrottop? (or whatever his name is)

ptps 07-10-2007 07:50 AM

OMG these are seriously bloody amazing. (Sorry. >_< ) Cheese is SO SPOT ON! And WILT!! This is THE BEST human Wilt I've ever come across. I love your sketches.

Ub3rD4n 07-10-2007 11:46 PM

How did I not notice this thread before? Good job, man, very good job.

basilsunshine 07-12-2007 10:52 PM

The "they glow in the dark" thing made me laugh! I really like your humanized Bloo.

I liked the paddleball thing too. Geezshhhh that whole page was awesome. 8-).

NPIcartoons 09-09-2007 06:08 PM

OMG, the human Bloo looks cool, the human Cheese is specifically too skinny, & the human Wilt would absolutely look like a typical basketball player.
