Hooray for her! Although, y'all realize that this could delay new episodes being made, OR result in Frankie having much less, if any, time in the new episodes, depending on when they wind up in production.

Well, Season Five is all but complete from what I am hearing. It usually takes about four to six months for episodes.

X-Cheese-fangirl-x 11-26-2006 10:08 AM

Awww, cute! She's my favourite voice actor and I hope she has a gorgeous baby with Murray!

Invader Bloo 11-26-2006 10:35 AM

Actress, Cheese fangirl.
I hope this dosen't delay Frankie's appearances which were real high this past season.

"C" the Dragon 11-26-2006 11:43 AM

Well congraguations for her!:D I just hope she finds time for her kid and time to voice Frankie.:P

Voxxyn 11-26-2006 11:48 AM

When I first read the topic title, I was very happy. Grey DeLisle has of course become one of my favorite voice actresses, and I hope things go well for her and her new child.

But reading PBL's post, I'm going to be honest.

I am scared and frightened of Frankie's future.

Ideally, I would want them to halt production for a few weeks-to-a-month to allow Grey to relax after giving birth and spend time with her child...

...but I'm starting to think Cartoon Network, firm in their "Foster's 5 and Cheese forever, Frankie who?" mentality, could force the Foster's crew to reduce or even completely PHASE OUT Frankie in future episodes.

If the latter happens... I'm sorry, but I'm going to be deeply disappointed and saddened.

Invader Bloo 11-26-2006 11:54 AM

That would also mean Mandy would be cutout, then it's just"The Grim Adventures of Billy". :/

If Tara Strong can do it (she has two children of her own -- I think two), so can Grey. It's definitely possible.

Which would be very grim indeed. :P

taranchula 11-26-2006 12:24 PM

Ah, This is great news indeed.

Congrats, Grey and Murray.

Mr. Marshmallow 11-26-2006 01:06 PM

Awe this is sweet news.

Always happy to hear things like this, congrats Grey, if she's anything like Frankie in RL then mothering should be a breeze for her.

Tara has kids? I didn't know that!:wiltshock:

BabyElephant 11-26-2006 02:38 PM

I really wouldn't worry. Yes, she may decide to take some time off after the baby comes, but unless Grey decides for some reason that she doesn't want to do the show any longer, there's no reason to think she won't be back in the studio as soon as she's needed.

CG 11-26-2006 06:36 PM

I say congratulations to Grey! Hope the baby's happy and healthy, that's the most important thing to worry about at this moment.

billytheskink 11-26-2006 06:50 PM

Congratulations to Grey!

kageri 11-26-2006 07:49 PM

Congrats to Grey! I hope everything goes well for her. If she takes a break, Frankie won't be gone for long, so I don't think there's anything to worry about.

Bloofanatic 11-26-2006 10:02 PM

Yay for Grey!

Hey that rhymes

YuckieDuck 11-27-2006 04:34 AM

Congratulations, Grey!

I totally agree.

Vox, just ease up a bit. I don't think the world's going to end because she has a baby. I'm SURE she will continue when she can with her voice-acting, because don't forget she IS making some money doing this and she'll definitely need that for her child.

Scribble 11-27-2006 08:46 AM

Awww sweet, congratulations Grey!

Howard 11-27-2006 09:37 AM

Congrats Grey, and more!

Imaginary Light 11-27-2006 11:04 AM

Aw, that's awesome news:)

basilsunshine 11-27-2006 03:23 PM

What's her myspace?

Medikor 11-27-2006 05:03 PM

:D Congratulations to you, Grey Delisle!:D

She has become one of my all-time favorite voice actors and I am very happy for her. I didant even know she was expecting. The Fosters cast and crew all seem very tight-nit and family-like so I'm sure that she will get more then she needs when it comes to support. I'm sure that if it was necisary, production on Foster's could be slowed down for her.
That is the beuty of voice acting-the sceduals are usually made around the actor and not the schedual. That dosent mean that they'll put the show on hiatus, but I'm sure that they'll give her some breathing room.
I am really excited to see how Grey's newfound motherhood will show in Frankie. I'm sure that the sence of careing and kindness that we get from her (and made us all love her character) will feel even more real and genuin. Not that it felt fake or anything, ofcourse.
On a side note: I never did see her episode on that wedding show. That would have been very interesting to watch. And again, congratulations Grey! And know that you have full love and support from us Foster's fans.:D

Partymember 11-27-2006 05:11 PM

WOOT WOOT! Hope she takes some time off!

For those curious:

http://www.myspace.com/greydelisle

....well, it's not run by Grey herself, but it's still apparently her official MySpace page.

And Tara's!

It's very cool to see Grey DeLisle becoming a mother. Grey DeLisle is one of my favorite voice actress. My other favorites are Tara Strong, Candi Milo, and Debi Derryberry. I hope that Grey spends a great time with her kids.

LaBloo 01-14-2007 08:14 AM

Yeah. I'm Like she's been on every cartoon TV Show.

bloonuggets 01-31-2007 07:40 AM

And, from her MySpace page, a picture of the mother to be with the bun in the oven at the time:

I received a bulletin from the folks behind Grey's MySpace page, saying that her water broke at 3 AM, and she's currently in labor. So folks, it looks like ze baby is arriving.

Voxxyn 01-31-2007 11:17 AM
