Weird forum-dream
 

I'm not entirely sure if I'm posting this in the right spot, but I had a really odd Never Forgotten interlude in my dreams last night. I was at some big awards-type event in a theatre, and all of the forum members had gathered together because it had been announced that Sparky was leaving and we didn't know why! She was going to meet us and tell us the story, but I got the impression that she had utterly lost her interest in Foster's and cartoons in general. It was funny, cos nobody was sure who everyone else was, and when someone suggested that we say what our usernames were, one guy smiled and said "No, let's wait!" ....I think it was Cassini, the only reason I had to believe this was that he was dressed in purple and grey, like Ed in his avatar! 8D
That was all I remember, it was funny though - I woke up thinking "What? Never Forgotten is finished!?" :o

I just hope this isn't one of those premonitory dreams! (apart from the meeting, of course, that would be fun!)

Ha, there's a Newsies "Rally" next summer for the Newsies Mailing List, and although I'm not personally going, I'm betting that the people who are will have a terrible time figuring out who is who.

That's a very sad dream... It makes me cry a little inside. Really, the thought that we'd no longer have this forum to chat on is depressing.

I know I'd be upset to if this board went down. It's been one of the most fun places for me to come and chat on, and I've never been that "loyal" to a board before!

I love this forum. It's become an important part of my daily life.
I hope leadballoon's dream isn't a premonition...If NF ever shut down, I'd be very sad.
But on a lighter note, I find the part about everyone wondering who everyone else was amusing.

I hope Never Forgotten never is.... well.... forgotten, or abandoned or shut down or anything like that. It's the biggest and best Foster's fansite around, and although I think everyone might be a bit high-strung lately from the impending Movie Event of the Year, we're like one big family. Awwww.

If I needed to leave I'd hand the forum (and site, if they wanted it) to someone else. I *am* having financial difficulties right now as it happens, but should worse come to worse I suppose I could start accepting donations. :P But my interest in Foster's and cartoons in general hasn't waned as of yet. ;)

Hah I've actually thought of that before - if everyone were to meet eachother. We'd need nametags that say "Hi! My name is _______!" to write our screen names in! 8D Seriously, I know some people's real names here, but I still think of them as their screen names.

And then everybody could switch nametags, so people would think each person was someone else!

And then try to make people guess who we really are. Like charades!

Never Forgotten needs its own convention.

I'm down with that!, I'll bring the Moutain Dew and Cheetos, and commission someone to make ice sculptures of all the characters.

Bring Root Beer too! I don't drink Mountain Dew! (Hey, that rhymed...)

Funnily, I have Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, and you can make a pre made family, and I made one for NF, and Cassini is dressed in Purple and Grey. XDDD

Anyway, I want to have a dream about NF too... :)

Maybe you could make people what you imagine them looking like when you read their posts. And then post the screenshots! That could be pretty awesome. It's always interesting to see how people "see" each other on forums.

Whoa I agree with that, I would be laughing so hard seeing what people imagined I look like.
Kageri I keep picturing you with reddish-blonde hair and green eyes, but I don't recall you being Irish... 8D

I have ORD in my head as being a nice handsome guy, but I won't even go into that.... (::giggles: )

Some clue on what Sparky looks like, she shared a pic with her and her bird, so I know her hair is dark. That's about it. :P

Antgirl must be tall. I don't know why.

Strangely enough, some people don't bring any images...for instance nothing comes to mind when I think of taranchula, Cassini, or even PBL....even though I like these people a lot.

Cool concept. We should really do this! ( I would if I had any drawing talent, but alas, I don't.)

Fomalhaut made a Sim of me awhile back and posted it, that's pretty close. I believe you'll find the pic in her Sims thread. :)

Hey howabout we consider starting a thread where we post pics? (For those who are ok with it.) I could start it off as soon as I find a halfway decent pic of myself. Maybe I'll do that by this weekend. :)

We have such a thread, somewhere in the Spam section, although not all the pics there are of Forum members.
